Hiya!Thats more or less what we did but in reverse! The roads on the Zim side are not a problem at all, except for the last little bit up to chimanimani national park. From there you just head south past Chipinge and through Mt Selinda (Chirinda forest is definietly worth a look) The road on the Moz side was not tooooo bad, it was all dirt all the way from the border across to the main tarred road, so it took a fair while. You'd want a bakkie but I think you'd make it in a normal car. Was just a bit of a bumpy ride.
If you need any other info let me know.

Hello, what a fantastic trip and journey you have done!! Have been trying to do some research on the area as I am planning to do a similar trip with children etc but a tad anxious. Would really like to get some info from you. We will be travelling down from northern Zim, Kariba heading for the Chimani's (for 3 days to hike) then into Moz through Espungabera to Vilanculos (how is the road?). Don't know anyone who has done it and not sure how to plan accordingly! Great pics on your site! Look forward hearing from you
